The Young Scientific Leadership Program

The program was designed to nurture leadership among Arab-Bedouin youth in the Negev and expose and attract school-age students to Science and Technology.

The program enables youth to develop leadership skills while serving their community
Tamar Center’s Young Scientific Leadership Program is run in collaboration with Beit Yatziv, the Ministry of Education, and the local Municipalities

Program Goals:

  1. Encourage social involvement and community service
  2. Develop leadership and counseling skills in sciences
  3. Nurture a cadre of science leaders who will act as role models to elementary school students
  4. Encourage excellence in science and technology among young counselors so that they pursue academic degrees in science and technology
  5. Expose and attract elementary school students to the field of science and technology through youth leadership
