The program was designed to nurture leadership among Arab-Bedouin youth in the Negev and expose and attract school-age students to Science and Technology.

Program Framework

Through the program high school students are trained to open tutoring groups for elementary school students in their local towns and villages in STEM subjects.

The multi-year program earns the high school students who participate in it a Bagrut Certificate in Community Service.   The high-school students will receive over 130  hours of training throughout the year – they began their training this summer through an intensive camp. The students carry out their volunteer hours as part of the 922-Etgarim “Ogen Kehilati” informal education structure that takes place in the regional councils.
